badgerhaus: what

badgerhaus is my home in Raleigh, NC, that I occasionally host house concerts in. I like to offer performance space to music and other performances that can have difficulty finding available performance spaces. I'm primarily interested in hearing ambient, noise, electro-acoustic, electronica, darkwave, free jazz, and improvisational performances.

badgerhaus rules

• No smoking indoors. Smoking on the deck is fine.
• Doors open a half-hour before showtime.
• If you have children or other people with you who cannot be held responsible for themselves, watch them - this place is not remotely childproofed.
• BYOB. Food is ok to bring too.
• If we judge you're unsafe to drive, you will either sleep on a couch, take a cab, or find a safe chauffeur.
• No illegal drugs.
• The neighborhood is residential with families and children. Be careful and respectful of my neighbors when driving through the community.
• Generally speaking we aim for a small intimate feel for the shows - if people need earplugs you are probably playing too loud.
• The above caveats in mind, please enjoy the show.
