Interested in playing at badgerhaus? I'm primarily interested in ambient, noise, electro-acoustic, electronica, darkwave, free jazz, and improvisational performances.
The main room is a 15'x30' cathedral ceiling, and looks like this picture (taken about halfway down one long wall):
A deck wraps around that half of the house.
Power outlets are rear stage right, front stage right, and stage left. We have multi-plug power strips available for use.
Bring your own amplification, we don't have an installed PA. Generally speaking, playing loudly enough that the audience wants earplugs is not a good idea.
If you need amplification and are not travelling with any, contact us in advance and we can generally make arrangements.
Capacity for the main room is about thirty to forty. Larger events tend to have audience spill over onto the deck.
Performers are more than welcome to bring and sell merchandise.
